I just won my first family health debate with our 5 year old.
She asked me to get out of the sun because I’ll get sunburned and die. I explained to her that the sun is actually required for health just like it is for plants. Too much of anything is bad for you, even required stuff. But a little bit, like 20 minutes, is really really really really good for you. That’s why we supplement on days when we don’t think we’ll get enough.
She went “pfffft”, tossed her hair, and walked away.
I call that a victory…
